  1. Brandon is having problems removing a virus from his computer. He allows Lisa to connect to his computer remotely using Desktop Assistance to troubleshoot the problem. However, when Lisa connects, the computer slows down until it finally stops responding. This has been going on for about a week. Lisa and Brandon call you and you ask them to open Task Manager to see what application is exhausting the CPU. Lisa tells you the CPU Usage shows 98 percent, but cannot tell what process is using it on the Process Tab. What should you tell Lisa to do?

Ensure the "Show processes from all users" checkbox is selected. This checkbox will tell you whether or not the processes from all users or just the user logged on locally should be displayed. In this scenario, Lisa is also logged onto Brandon's computer, so her the CPU Usage might be running in the context of her account.
